There is nothing that has become more important in the workplace than health and safety. Employers can give their employees all the health and safety training in the world but Hazard Identification and Risk Management are truly the core elements in any type of health and safety program.

Safety and risk management play an important role in all business success by identifying various safety hazards/risks and their implications that each may have on the employees and the business itself.
 
Hazards identification / risk management will teach participants how to find, record and correct workplace hazards through practical knowledge. This course has been defined to provide guidance in the proper identification of hazards and risks associated in the working environment and the principles to be applied to carry out proper risk assessment.


The Occupational Safety and Health Act require all employers to “...furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are casing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm...” (29 U.S.C. 651, Sec. 5(a)(1)).

All participants will gain valuable hands-on experience and practice to properly identify, evaluate and implement safety and risk management policies and procedures.

How Long Does Hazardous Identification and Risk Management take?

Half a day maximum with a minimum of twenty-five (25) participants per session. All training is delivered on site and scheduled to your convenience (off shifts, weekends, whenever and wherever).
This course is beneficial to your Occupation Health & Safety Committee, members and anyone in an environment who needs to able to assess hazards and risks within the workplace.
